David Mann

David Mann is the lead actor in the new show “Meet The Browns” developed by Tyler Perry and based on the movie of the same name.

If you’ve never seen Tyler Perry’s plays or movies your first exposure to the “Mr. Brown” character was probably via the “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne” television show. However, David Mann has portrayed this character in several productions:

David Mann is married to Tamela Mann, the person portraying his sister on Meet The Browns. He and his wife were gospel singers with Kirk Franklin’s “The Family” before working on Tyler Perry’s productions.

me and my girlfriend enjoy the show very much i was just wonding when the tv show will hit dvd i want to buy the series on dvd and also we love house of payne curtis is crazy we have fun watching him and brown go at it keep up the good work on the two shows i think tyler perry is great and i wish he will win the emmy for next year for these great show its a about time that tbs puts some great shows

The Mann’s ARE the show! The hospital scenes are WACK! I wanna turn but I’m afraid I’m gonna miss Mr. Brown. Tyler needs to realign the show to focus more on the star….MR BROWN!

Meet The Browns is the funniest show I have ever seen, bar none!! David Mann is so talented and gifted. If I could watch this show every night, 7 days a week, I would!! :-D

This is by far my favorite program on TV. I have others at work now watching and enjoying as much as I. They should get top billing in comedy. One can feel bad, watch this – get to laughing and feel much better afterward. The show is not only VERY FUNNY, but decent and teaches a moral lesson this country needs badly. We need more like this. THANKS much Tyler Perry for bringing quality programing.

every where i go people stop me and ask if iam mr brown even at the va they just call me mr brown it do get old but some time i just roll with it
