Meet The Browns – What NOT To Wear

I love that TV show “What Not to Wear.” You know the premise right?

“A fashion victim gets nominated by friends or family. If accepted, the person is secretly followed for 2 weeks by a camera crew. At the end of the 2 weeks the hosts of the show visit the unwary person and offers them $5,000 to go to New York to buy a brand new wardrobe. But there’s a catch of course: the person has to first give up several items from their current wardrobe and accept criticism (which can sometimes be harsh) about their fashion style. Their buying spree in New York is also filmed by a camera crew.”

Now, imagine if you can, what that show would be like if Mr. Leroy Brown was one of their fashion victims. Can’t you see him trying to explain his wardrobe? He’d probably end up convincing them that his style represented the latest in au couture!

One of the reasons I tune in to watch “Meet The Browns on TV” each week is to see what Mr. Brown will be wearing. Here are some of his fashion faux pas from the show and from his appearances on House of Payne:

Well, a few pounds less and he could be mistaken with Benjamin Andre, from Outkast, who’s been considered a fashion icon not so long ago…
