Turns out she was trying to defend her brother. When initially asked about the incident she’s quite defensive. Sasha attempts to reach her by probing Brianna about why she’s so disrespectful and angry. Turns out, Brianna was abused by her mother’s boyfriend; Brianna’s mother never believed her which caused a rift between mother and daughter.

Two college frat boys from Gappa Epsilon Epsilon Kappa (GEEK) visit Mr. Brown. They attempt to steal a painting of Russell’s father while he’s not looking but fortunately, their frat guide, Russell, catches them and makes them return the item. For payment for their indiscretions, Russell orders the frat boys to do odd chores for Mr. Brown.

Russell returns and asks Cora out on a date. Because of the “makeover” she receives from some of the ladies in the house Russel is somewhat taken aback at her appearance but, because he’s such a great guy, he takes her on a date and ends up really liking her!

After Brianna opens up to Carmen they begin forging a trusting relationship.
